The music of Bach and going for a hike, the sweet Lazio countryside and the choral “Jesus bleibet meine Freude”, from the Cantata BWV 147 by Johann Sebastian Bach. Practically a new piece by violinist and composer Luca Ciarla, Cantata Walk is the result of a series of overlapping improvisations made with a baroque bow and a violin tuned a semitone below, searching for a different, almost “pastoral” sound.
